Moms' Seminar

Ashley Warner
Friday, May 25 from 10am-12pm

We are called to reasonableness and gentleness but what does this look like in our daily lives? Would those around us consider us reasonable; our kids, partners, friends, or co-workers? Are we gentle with ourselves or do we have unreasonable ideals that plague us with anxiety?

Our God went above and beyond reasonable. Through Jesus we are promised a freeing peace, a peace that will guard our hearts and minds. Be gentle, be cool, be in prayer; the Lord is at hand.

Come join us Friday, May 25th at 10am at the Resolved for a Moms Seminar led by Ashley Warner. Childcare will be provided.

There is a $5 suggested donation for childcare.

What is Moms' Seminar? by Jenny Kvaternik
I desire for women in our church to learn from other gospel-saturated women! Between all of us, there is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom about godly parenting and biblical womanhood. It is difficult to have meaningful conversations at the park during playgroup and at church on Sunday because there are several distractions. I want to create a time where moms can get together and learn from one another!

Playgroup is now hosting a new bi-monthly Resolved Moms meeting! Instead of meeting at the park, we will meet at the church to gather together on Friday mornings every other month. Childcare will be provided. The meeting will have a short devotional time and then there will be a topic to discuss each meeting. Some topics include: baby wearing, baking, discipline, organizing your house, breastfeeding, post-partum, natural child birth, making baby food, miscarriages, diaper reviews, school choice, etc. If you are passionate about a certain subject, we would love to have you share in a future meeting. This is an opportunity for us to develop discipleship friendships and to be missional for other moms in San Diego! It is a way for us to live out the command in Titus 2 that older women are to teach and train younger women.
